Quality, Environmental Protection, Safety System for Campsites

Campers love nature. They like fresh air, clear water and a beautiful landscape.  For the camping site an intact nature is therefore an essential condition for satisfied guests and economic success.  Reason enough to seriously support the protection of nature and the environment. Through the introduction of an environmental management system environmental protection can be established firmly in all areas and procedures of a camping site.

Within the TOURBENCH project our German partners ADAC, ECOTRANS and ECOCAMPING developed a new integrated management system for campsites to improve their environmental performance, but also the quality and the security on the site. This system is called QESS (Quality, Environmental protection, Safety with System for campsites). QESS is a process orientated new flexible system developed especially for campsites.

In 8 steps the campsite manager and his team can build up the system and will start an effective process of improvement.
